The purpose of this course is to introduce the student to the basics of contract law. Along with other areas of law such as torts and property law, contracts law is foundational to the American legal system and the Western legal tradition. Measurable Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

    1. Identify the basic principles of contract law.
    2. Describe the steps toward the formation, performance, and enforcement of contracts.
    3. Discuss the remedies available for breach of contract actions.
    4. Synthesize all of the preceding in light of the Christian worldview.

Each thread is to be 250 words and demonstrate course-related knowledge. In addition to the thread, the student is required to reply to 2 other classmates’ threads. Each reply must be 150 words.
