- Review the types of pain.
- Understand the pathophysiology of pain.
- Analyze the implications of ineffective pain management.

- Apply knowledge of pain science to the various pharmacologic treatment modalities (transdermal, Patient Controlled Analgesia, Epidural, and other delivery options).
