Reasoning:

As compared to other health care professionals, professional nurses spend the most time with patients. The pain science literature reveals that nursing graduates are not competent in dealing with patients’ pain upon the completion of their basic nursing programs. Nurses need to have the opportunity to explore pain science in more depth and build skills in developing a culture of effective pain management across the health care spectrum.
