Course Description
This course is a continuation of the Cybersecurity Capstone I course and serves as the culmination of the computer science cybersecurity program which integrates all concepts of enterprise cybersecurity, from an offensive and defensive point of view.

Rationale
CSIS 486 is the integrated capstone for the Bachelor’s in Computer Science Cybersecurity degree at Liberty University. Its objective is to synthesize the entire core of the program and apply this by completing a realistic offensive and defensive integrated Capstone Project.

Discussions (8)
Discussions are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, the student will create a thread in response to the provided promptly for each Discussion. Each thread’s main post must be at least 300 words and demonstrate course-related knowledge. In addition to the thread main post, the student will reply to the threads of at least 2 classmates. Each reply must be at least 100 words. At least 1 citation (from the text or scripture) must be included in each thread’s main post and the reply must contain at least 1 citation from Scripture. Current APA formatting is required for any citations.
Capstone Project Phase Assignments (5)
To reinforce the material in each module, the student will complete 5 assignments involving written elements of a secure SDLC plan along with incremental releases of a resilient application that will give him or her an opportunity to demonstrate mastery of the lessons learned during the assigned or previous Module: Week. Project submissions must include a readme file with any information required to use the application, any source code written, and all files necessary to use the application.
Note that if the instructor is unable to execute a project, it will be assumed to be incomplete and graded appropriately. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that everything necessary is submitted and that the project can be executed by the instructor.
Quiz: Mid-Term
The student will complete a Quiz: Mid-Term which will cover all the material from chapters 1-6, 8, and 9 of the textbook. This exam will be open-book/open-notes, contain a variety of 50 multiple-choice and true/false questions, and have a time limit of 2 hours.
Quiz: Final
The student will complete a comprehensive Quiz: Final which will cover all the material from chapters 7 and 10-13 of the textbook. This exam will be open-book/open-notes, contain a variety of 50 multiple-choice and true/false questions, and have a time limit of 2 hours.
