Course Overview :

This course is the second step for doctoral candidates in the process of developing and completing their research study and dissertation. Doctoral candidates will complete Chapter 2, Literature Review, and Chapter 3, Methodology, and combine them with Chapter 1 to form their research proposal. Candidates will also conduct their research proposal defense and submit their research to the IRB for review.

Rationale :

BUSI 988 is the second step for DBA doctoral candidates to develop and complete the dissertation. It provides a focused study of the methodology that will be employed in the research study. Look over my recommended prerequisite courses at Liberty University if you need help deciding.

Measurable Learning Outcomes :

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

CLO 1. Determine the most appropriate research method and design for the proposed research study.

CLO 2. Develop the research methodology necessary to conduct the research study.

CLO 3. Develop the appropriate data collection tools for the given research method and design.

CLO 4. Develop and defend a Research Proposal for the Dissertation.

CLO 5. Interpret the research study in relation to a Christian worldview.
