Course Overview:

This course covers current trends in critical areas of business administration from an executive perspective.

Reasoning:

Students will be introduced to current theoretical and applied research in business, representing each of the areas of the common professional components. Emphasis will be placed on producing writing that adheres to the standards of the Doctor of Business Administration program while providing a survey of current research in each of the areas.

Measurable Educational Results:

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

• Synthesize and interpret scholarly literature related to current business topics.
• Construct a trend analysis of a concept in business theory using scholarly literature.
• Examine Biblical scripture and evaluate its relationship to business theory and ethical frameworks.
• Apply APA standards of writing and formatting.

• There are three reflections on various readings from Keller’s Every Good Endeavor. Each of these reflections connects Keller’s writing with a business concept.
