Course Description

After reading the Course Syllabus and Student Expectations, the student will complete the related checklist found in Module/Week 1.

Discussion Board Forums (3)

Discussion boards are collaborative learning experiences. Therefore, the student is required to provide a thread in response to the provided promptly for each forum. Each thread must be at least 250 words and demonstrate course-related knowledge. In addition to the thread, the student is required to reply to 2 other classmates’ threads. Each reply must be at least 100 words.

Reflection Paper

The student must write a 2–3 page Reflection Paper that focuses on teaching and developing student pilots into future pilots with professionalism, ethical values, and Christian character.

Progress Reports (7)

The student must account for the total number of ground, flight, and/or simulator activities completed at the Flight Training Affiliate. The student will receive full credit for answering the question regardless of the number of activities that were completed.

Certificate Submission

In order to pass this class, the student must complete Certified Flight Instructor training at a Flight Training Affiliate. Once this has been completed, the student must submit either a copy of the graduation certificate, license/certificate (front and back), or temporary certificate if applicable.

Quizzes (8)

There will be quizzes in Modules/Weeks 1–8. Quizzes will be open-book/open-notes and contain multiple-choice and essay questions. The student will have 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete each quiz.
